I bought this carrier when my third child was one month old. I have a bad back and my sling was hurting it. Overall it is very comfortable. I love the strap around the waist. You can criss cross the straps in the back or wear it straight like a backpack. I also love how you can adjust the leg opening to fit a small baby. I did have some trouble with the d hooks. This is the part that support an infants head. The company sent me replacement parts. It still gave me a little trouble so I tied them off. I did not like this bc the carrier was so expensive. The carrier is so comfortable for my back that I dealt with it. I would recommend this carrier. It is a must for me to chase my 20 month old and 4 year old on outings. Also great for around the house. It is hot when outside in the summer heat but anything would be in south Louisiana.

Because I was having such a hard time deciding between the two. I got the Ergo and thought it was comfortable and well
Made and easy to use. HOWEVER, I am a petite person and even when I had the straps adjusted all the way down I still had a very hard time buckling the back buckle by myself so I ended up returning it.
The Beco on the other hand is a much more versatile carrier because it offers several more carries and it seems the straps have a lot more wiggle room in terms Of adjustments. I also liked how for a facing in front carry you have the option to make the leg base narrower. I can easily reach my hands over my head and buckle the back buckle by myself. Also every review I read complained that you need 2 hands to unbuckle which I haven't found to be the case at all. I buckle it around my waist and keep the sides buckled at all times then pick up and position my baby put the straps over my shoulders one by one while supporting her with one arm them buckle behind my head. To take it off I follow the same steps in reverse and hold my index finger down on the safety feature of the waist buckle and unclasp the buckle with my thumb and middle finger. My daughter is 3 months and 11 lbs and I've used it about a month now and have never once risked dropping her or had problems getting this on or off.
I feel safe and secure walking and doing household chores while using this. And my baby seems to love it too. It has definitely made life easier :)

I am 4ft 11 and 105lbs and I have 3 children under 5 years old. I do not have time to fudge with the learning curve for a wrap. I am too impatient to learn intricate knots so I chose a buckle carrier. I did a lot of research because I was concerned about my size that I would have to put up with a cookie-cutter sized carrier made for larger women.
This buckle carrier has put those concerns to rest. It is intuitive and easy to learn. Go on Youtube.com to get instructions on how to do the front, side and back holds... I"ve tried them all on my 18lb 7 month old and we both love it. I did not find them overly frustrating after watching the youtube video instructions.
This is sooo much better than a Baby BJORN. It actually distributes the weight so that my back is not killing me while the baby is harnessed to me.
