After purchasing 2 small fabric Ameribags, I gave my daughter a small, black leather one for Christmas. I liked the look of hers so much that I ordered the extra-small Espresso leather bag for myself from Amazon. The smaller size works better for me for general use, plus I can still carry my digital SLR Nikon camera in it. Great products. The straps stay on my shoulder and they sit up straight when I set them down.

This is my second bag. The first was canvas and it was great but difficult to clean. I bought the leather bag this time and it is great for everyday use and perfect for travel as well. Most shoulder bags eventually make my shoulder or back hurt but this bag is contoured for comfort.

I love this bag!!! It's perfect for all my day-to-day items. Lots of pockets and a place for everything. The key hook is a nice plus. It is a supple leather that seems to be of good quality. It's amazing how it lightens the load. Hang the bag from your hand and you'll feel the weight. But put in on your shoulder and it's surprisingly light. I almost forgot I was carrying it a few times. It has not slipped off my shoulder once. The strap is nearly 1.5" wide so it doesn't dig into your shoulder. I do NOT miss any of my other bags and will carry this one everywhere.

Ameribag is located in NY, but I had a difficult time trying to find out where it is actually manufactured. I zoomed in on all the photos I could find on several web sites and saw several different tags: Made in USA, Made in China, and Made in Taiwan (I think). Unfortunately, mine is made in China. Disappointing.

All in all, it's a great bag and I'm glad I have it. I'll probably get the mini baglett version. I would give the product a strong 5 stars IF it were Made in USA.

If you go to the manufacturer's web site, they have the dimensions and pictures of models carrying the various size bags!!
